How verification works

Straight from the issuer’s records

There is nothing to download and no third party in the middle. Every check reads the live INFOTICS record, so a revoked or expired credential can never look valid.

  1. Look upType the ID or scan the QR code on the document.
  2. Read the live recordThe holder, title, dates and skills are loaded from INFOTICS Academy, not from the document itself.
  3. Check the statusA green banner means valid. Amber is expired. Red is revoked.

Status at a glance

ValidIssued by INFOTICS and currently in force.
ExpiredWas genuine, but its validity period has ended.
RevokedWithdrawn by INFOTICS. Do not rely on it.
FAQ

Questions about verification

Where do I find the credential ID?
Printed on the certificate, letter or badge next to the QR code. Certificates start with INF-CRT-, digital badges with INF-BDG- and letters with INF-LTR- followed by ten characters. You can also paste the full verification link.
What do Valid, Expired and Revoked mean?
Valid means INFOTICS issued the credential and it is currently in force. Expired means it had a validity period that has ended. Revoked means INFOTICS withdrew it, for example after an integrity review or an issuing error. Only Valid credentials should be relied on.
Can I verify by scanning the QR code?
Yes. The QR code on every certificate, badge and letter opens the same verification page as typing the ID, so a phone camera is the quickest check.
I typed the ID correctly but nothing was found. Why?
Check for similar-looking characters (0 and O, 1 and I). The holder may also have set the credential to private, or the document may not have been issued by INFOTICS Academy. Email info@infotics.edu.pk with the ID and we will confirm from our records.
What personal information is shown?
Only what a verifier needs: the holder's name, the credential title, issue and expiry dates, status and the skills it covers. Holders can make a credential private at any time, in which case only the holder and INFOTICS staff can open it.
Are the digital badges portable?
Yes. Every badge page offers an Open Badges 2.0 assertion (JSON), a PNG image, and a LinkedIn "Add to profile" link, so the holder can display it beyond this website.
