# Go-live checklist

**Placeholders and defaults you must replace**
- [ ] Admin → Settings: legal name, address, phone, WhatsApp, contact e-mail, social links, SEO title/description, logo.
- [ ] Bank name / account title / number / IBAN, Easypaisa, JazzCash, NTN (shown on invoices, quotes, receipts, e-mails). They are **blank** until you enter them.
- [ ] Legal pages (Terms, Privacy, Refund) are **default text** — have counsel review; the refund figures are placeholders.
- [ ] Vendor exam codes in the seeded catalogue: re-check against the vendors' current exam lists.
- [ ] Seeded question banks are practice items written for INFOTICS — trainers should review before candidates rely on them.
- [ ] Batches, events, testimonials, jobs, trainers’ photos exist only as demo seed data — enter real ones.

- [ ] Admin → Settings: upload the official INFOTICS logo (PNG on transparent background) and set certificate signatory names and titles.
- [ ] Communications → Email templates: review the wording of each template (fees, terms, tone) and send yourself a test of each.
- [ ] Automations: confirm reminder timing (`INFOTICS_INSTALLMENT_REMINDER_DAYS`, `INFOTICS_OVERDUE_REPEAT_DAYS`) and which steps should be on.

**Security**
- [ ] `APP_ENV=production`, `APP_DEBUG=false`, `INFOTICS_SEED_DEMO=false`, `INFOTICS_SHOW_DEMO_LOGINS=false`, `INFOTICS_DEMO_MODE=false`.
- [ ] Demo users do not exist (fresh DB) or have been deleted; new admin created with a strong password.
- [ ] HTTPS + HSTS, `SESSION_SECURE_COOKIE=true`, `TRUSTED_PROXIES` set.
- [ ] Database + `storage/app/private` backups scheduled and a restore tested.

**Infrastructure**
- [ ] Queue worker and scheduler running; SMTP verified (`infotics:mail-test`); SPF/DKIM/DMARC set for the sending domain so receipts and reminders do not land in spam.
- [ ] Upload limits set in PHP + nginx (+ CDN limits considered); a 100 MB test video uploads and plays.
- [ ] `php artisan infotics:build-assets` and `php artisan optimize` run; `/up` monitored.

**Search & sharing**
- [ ] Sitemap submitted (Google/Bing); Google Business Profile matches site details.
- [ ] Share a badge on LinkedIn and Facebook and confirm the preview image; set `linkedin_org_id` in Settings so “Add to profile” links to your company page.
